Okay soo yesterday was just a teensy bit amazing.
I nanny 3 days a week and I am free to whatever the rest. So I woke up and decided to go on a bike ride. Right when you get off their drive way you ride like maybe 200 yards and you reach this amazing bike trail that goes around the entire lake! Everyday there are bikers, roller bladers, runners, and best of all, people training for the tour de france zipping around on the trail.
Soo when you get to the trail from where I live, you can go right or left. I have been right but never went more that 7 miles out so yesterday I decided to go a lot further.
Oh my gosh.
It was amazing.
I kept saying, “okay when I get to that corner I will turn around.” Nope! I don’t know how far I went but it was dang far and it was freaking unreal. Along the way there are people repelling along side the mountain like 20 feet away, people riding horses, skate parks, fields on fields on fields of flowers, its just amazing.
Then we went on a walk.
Then I went on a second bike ride and went left this time and it took me to ‘Old Town’ which is like the Venice of France!! I had looked at pictures on the internet before and was so excited to see it. It is like a fairytale.
I just sat on a bench and stared and kept thinking…
“um this is real life. I am not looking at a picture this is real and I am staring at this right now.”
sigh.
