Annecy Photo Diary 1

I finally arrived in Annecy!
I had a long trip… SLC to Phoenix to Charlotte to Frankfurt to Geneva to Annecy
… all to save a couple hundred bucks on my flight haha
I cried every time I thought about leaving this past week haha it was so absurd I was so stressed! Luckily I had David to make me feel better but I was so nervous and did not want to leave him at all.
But I maybe just kind of absolutely completely love everything about this place!! I feel right at home.
There are 3 boys I am nannying, ages 3, 5, and 8!
I thought they were going to be younger because the picture I saw was an old picture, I was happy they were a bit older than I expected. They are the most gorgeous kids. They seriously know how to breed here in France. Its shocking how stunning they are! Pictures do not do them or Annecy justice.
And to make things even better, the kids are the sweetest ever.
Annecy is amazingly charming. Charming is the only word to describe it. Flowers and color everywhere and it is so quiet.
They are a French speaking family and I knew nothing about them beforehand (it was set up through a friend who knew the family so it was not sketchy or scary), but I love them. Its hard to communicate, only the dad speaks fluent English and the mom speaks good English but only simple sentences and the kids, none.
If you want to feel super uneducated come try to talk to a French speaking 3 year old haha.
They come to me so excited to tell me something and I just stare blankly… I do not understand a thing! I know some French but they just speak so quickly here I can’t catch anything!
Sooo we play lots of games and do lots of hand gestures.
And I am teaching them English and they are helping me with my French!
I love absolutely everything about this adventure.
oh p.s. for some reason I thought Axel was spelled Ascel because their “x” looks like a cursive s and c next to each other… its weird.
Here is day 1 and day 2:
The view from my bedroom window
Axel getting buried at the beach
Like I said… they freaking know how to breed these kids here in France
The gorgeous beach down the street from the house!! the water is amazingly blue!
Axel and Antoine playing their game.. I do not know what it is called but its dang fun
The street we walk down to the beach from the house
on that same street… charming right?
 Antoine brings me flowers :)
Axel and a pretty view from the balcony
Axel, Antoine, and their cousin. Impossible to get these kids to smile for a picture haha
The kid’s grandparents house in Megeve
My favorite picture of the day! Axel getting Baptiste wet!
 In the town
 Baptiste and his ice cream
once again, impossible I tell ya haha
Who needs the bathroom when you can pee in a perfectly fine bush??
 Their favorite game
Well that is all for my first 2 days!! 40 more to go :)
xo
