Yesterday I went and saw Snow White and the Huntsman… well I decided to wear:
you can’t really even tell what I am wearing and I look like I am trying to fly and my hands look large and in charge (I didn’t know this pic was being taken).. but I am wearing leather pants, super tall floral wedges, a black tube top tank, and a little floral net top:
here (it is on sale and I highly recommend)
So the floral net top I just ordered online from asos.com and I don’t know if any of you have ordered from there.. but the tags when you get them are pretty big, and generally you have to cut them off because it is a really thick string (string sounds so dainty but rope sounds too big.. so in the middle k?) and they are thicker cardboard and about 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches.. so pretty big. Oh and they are white on one side and black on the other.
K anyways I put on the top and hadn’t taken the tag off yet and totally forgot about it. David picked me up and we went to the gas station to get treats and gas, to beto’s for food, and then the movie. Keep in mind this movie just came out so at the theatre I saw plenty of people I know.
After about thirty minutes of being at the theatre and talking to people and walking around we go to the bathroom. I look in the mirror at my butt. Yes, I looked at my butt. I had never worn my leather pants with a short shirt that would show my butt so….. I looked. And I was mortified.
Hanging out of the back of my shirt was that gosh dang asos tag WHITE side up. I can only imagine how many people saw this massive tag hanging on me and just thought, “aww.. she forgot to take her tag off.. should we tell her? nah.”
I think I asked my boyfriend 5 times, “how did you not see this?!?!?!”
He swears he didn’t notice.
haha and on top of that, David and I got treats and big sodas from the gas station and he got a box with burritos to go and so we wanted to smuggle them in the theater.. so he RAMS them in my purse. Yes I say RAM because my purse was BULGING! I swore the guy was going to be like, “um mam can I please see your massive luggage” and then proceed to take out of my mary poppins bag, burritos, sodas, licorice, gummy treats, etc. and I would feel so gay/chubby.
we just needed our treats.
But the guy didn’t even notice.
Fooled em.
My friend and I went to the meadows today to read and play. She wanted to test out her new camera so she had me do a little photoshoot. But I mostly just messed around haha she was getting so mad. Here are some of her pics from me acting like a normal human:

What did you guys think of Snow White? I feel like this is what I learned during the movie:
1. I have an attention span the size of my hamster. Lonnnng movie.
2. Charlize is drop. dead. like seriously outrageously stunning.
3. Kristen Stewart… oh Kristen. You know how she always had tears running down her cheeks? Yeah well, those were probably real. Is she not always depressed? And the same boring snooze alert character? WE GET IT. You have no personality.
4. I feel like the lessons/morals portrayed in the movie were not very good for girls to see. We don’t need to have flawless skin and look young to be pretty and powerful. I get that they had to do that for the storyline yadddda yadda but still. It just intensifies the pressures already out there to stay young and look beautiful. I sometimes get caught up in it all and stress about aging, its stupid. I should just always have fun and live life and age gracefully, accepting myself at all stages of life whether I have wrinkles or not. I know some of the most beautiful women in my life have wrinkles and stretch marks and are even more beautiful because of it.

i’ve had that happen to me before. i double check now everytime i wear something new, just in case.
and hehe, i smuggle food into the theater too. and always worry about getting caught. haven’t gotten caught yet!
