my mama.

yesterday was mothers day and i could not blog.. on the account of i was in az!
however, i wanted to give a shout out to my mommy because i love her so very much.
its crazy how you grow up not realizing all the amazing things mothers do for you, and then when you get to college you realize how much they actually did for you.
i never had to ask for new tooth paste. she always knew when i was almost out and would go stock up. now if i run out… it takes me a month before i finally remember to get a new tube.
i always appreciated home cooked meals, but never realized how much time they take and how amazing it is that my mom made dinner every. single. night.
i loved waking up each morning to a healthy breakfast and my vitamins laid out for me.
i loved coming home from school to my once disastrous room, now spotless. and occasionally a little gift and note.
i loved getting new clothes. but never realized she sacrificed her own wardrobe to supply my own.
i loved getting taken care of when i was sick.
i never realized how much my mom actually does and how proactive she is with her republican womens club, book club, bunco group, volunteering, institute, callings, service, visiting teaching, being a mom, cleaning, paying bills, just everything. and i never noticed because she never complained. she did everything with a smile.
basically, mothers are amazing. they amaze me. im so thankful for my wonderful mother and all that she does for me. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH XOXO
